Approximation formulae for the error in higher-order iteration methods

In der Arbeit werden einige approximative Formeln für den Fehler der v -ten Approximation bei nichtlinearen Iterationsverfahren vom Typus x v + 1 = ϕ ( x v ) abgeleitet ( x v + 1 , x v sind n -dimensionale Vektoren). Der Fehler der v -ten Approximation wird approximativ durch die Korrektion d v = x v + 1 - x v und eine gewisse mit Hilfe der Methode der kleinsten Quadrate abgeleitete Konstante abgeschätzt. Besonders einfach sind die Formeln für die Iterationsverfahren von zweiter Ordnung. Die Formeln sind leicht realisierbar und bieten für den Fehler sehr genaue Werte.
